Week 8, Project 8
The heat wave rolling in this week (mid 40s) in Chicago, put me in the mood to "think spring". I am not breaking out all of my Easter decorations just yet, but I thought a few floral arrangements would brighten up the house. Most of the silk flowers and vases were actually found at the dollar store. My big expenses were a glass pitcher for the fresh flowers ($10) and bright rain boots and umbrella ($5ea.). It may be back in the 20s today, but it definitely feels like spring inside my house. :-)

Dollar Store little purse, stuffed with Dollar Store silk flowers. |
$5 Below Store yellow umbrella, with $4 silk flowers from Walmart |
$5 Below Store green boots, $4 silk flowers from Walmart. |
$10 Glass pitcher from Walmart, 3 fresh lemons, fresh bouquet of flowers. |
I used a foam wreath from the Dollar Store and took apart a couple silk flowers and used a ribbon to wrap the bottom to create this centerpiece. |
I had leftover plywood so I painted it, then used chipboard flowers and drilled holes for wire to hang. |
