Displaying Works of Art

Week 36
With my oldest son now in Preschool, we are showered with works of art that he brings home every week.  I have decided to take pictures of everything thing he does and will eventually make a book of all of his creations. This way I don't have to save hundreds of papers over the years, but will still have a memory,  and a copy, of what he has done.  In the mean time,  being the proud mom that I am, I wanted to create a better way of displaying his art besides taping it to the fridge.  I thought the playroom would be perfect.   So, here is what I came up with:
I bought 2 1"x4" X 4' pieces of wood, painted them black,  glued on large clips and made them hangable for the wall.  I then ordered the creativity quote in vinyl lettering for the top.  I'm pleased with how it turned out, as well as the cost, $20 for all. The gutter bookcases in the pictures were an earlier project done last year.

Since I was redoing one wall in the playroom,  I decided to do another wall by decorating it with recent family pictures that were taken in a super hero theme by the great Richie Chapman.  It was fun and unique,  and the pictures look great displayed in the playroom.
