DIY BOOKENDS

Week 52!

The final project of the year! I saw this idea on Pinterest,  and like most people,  I said to myself,  "hey, I can totally do that!" It was pretty easy.  I found some dollar store plastic animals and dinosaurs, some old spray paint,  a couple of broken bricks and pieces of wood,  and superglue,  and wala!  Cheap and easy,  my favorite kind of project.

new baby and housewarming gifts

week 51

Zayden helped me paint this canvas with 311 lyrics for my sister Emily and her soon to be husband Luke for their new house.

I also made these two framed prints using simple Microsoft Publisher.  They were gifts for my friend who just had a new baby girl.   When I gave her the framed baby announcement and mommy quote set, she cried.  That really meant a lot to me that it meant so much to her. I will be selling the baby announcements for $10 each on my Etsy website.

Filling Special Orders

week 50

This past week I was swamped with special orders for Christmas.  Snowman earrings were just as popular this year as they were last year.  The new little wooden snowmen were also a big hit, and also a lot of fun to make.  I also had a couple orders for growth charts and grow with me blocks.  Like I said, it was a VERY busy week!
